Snowballs — Starburst Runtz (Indoor)

Snowballs are flower taken several steps further than a standard snowcap. We start with Starburst Runtz grown indoors — a licensed bag, hand-trimmed and slow-cured — and then take the buds through three separate coats.

First a dip in HTE: high-terpene extract, which is where most of the flavour comes from. Then a soak in liquid diamonds, the pure crystalline THC that gives the product its punch. Finally a sprinkling of THCa while the coating is still tacky, which is what gives snowballs that almost white, frosted look.

The numbers tell the story: 68%+ pure THC. Flower alone sits around 20–27%. This is roughly triple that, and it's why a snowball is sold differently — you're buying a concentrate experience delivered in flower form.

The coating does two things at once. It burns slow and even, because the oil layer keeps the flower from catching fast — so a joint lasts longer than the same weight of plain flower. And it carries the full Starburst Runtz terp profile straight to the front: sweet, candy-sharp, with that distinctive candy-sherbet edge the strain is named for.

Then it arrives. 68%+ THC is not a marketing figure — this is genuinely heavy. The effect comes on within a few minutes and builds hard and fast, and it lasts a long time. Expect to need noticeably less than you would of plain flower. For most people a single snowball is more than a session.

The simplest approach is to break a bud up lightly and smoke it as you would flower — in a joint or a bowl. Don't grind it hard: the coating is sticky, and over-grinding will strip it off onto the grinder walls where you can't use it. Break it roughly by hand instead.

If you have a vape that handles concentrates, snowballs work there too and the flavour comes through particularly cleanly. Whatever you use, start smaller than you would with plain flower and give it ten to fifteen minutes before judging. This is the strongest thing on the menu by THC percentage.

The coating is what makes snowballs different, and it's also what makes them sensitive. The terpenes in the HTE layer are volatile — warmth and open air will dull the smell and flavour well before the THC is affected.

Keep them in an airtight glass jar, cool and dark. The fridge is the right call for anything you're keeping past a couple of weeks. Bring the jar to room temperature before opening, or condensation will settle on the coating and make it tacky. Handled this way the coating holds its texture and the terps stay sharp for months.

One practical note for the larger sizes: break down only what you're going to use soon and keep the rest sealed as a whole. Loose snowballs in an open jar lose their coating faster than a packed bag does.
