Strawberry Freeze Snowcaps

Strawberry Freeze is flower taken a step further — whole buds rolled and coated so the outside carries far more than the bud alone would. Licensed indoor grown, hand-trimmed and slow-cured before the coating goes on.

The look is unmistakable: buds go in green and come out pale and frosted, the coating sitting thick and even across the surface. It's a snowcap in the proper sense, not the pale imitation you see sold cheaply elsewhere.

Super fruity strawberries, front and centre — the sweet, slightly jammy kind rather than anything artificial. Underneath there's a tangy undertone that keeps it from being cloying, which is what makes this profile work: the sweetness has something sharp to push against.

It's loud. Open a bag in a room and people will know. If you're after something discreet this is the wrong end of the menu, but if you want a snowcap that actually smells of what it's named, this is it.

The coating does two things. It slows the burn, so a joint lasts noticeably longer than the same weight of plain flower. And it carries the strawberry profile straight through — you taste it properly on the way in, not just on the smell.

Strength lands well above plain flower of the same weight. The coating adds potency on top of the bud, so go carefully the first time; a snowcap is easy to underestimate because it looks like ordinary flower until it isn't.

Break a bud up lightly by hand rather than grinding. The coating is sticky and a hard grind strips it onto the grinder walls where you can't use it — a rough break keeps the coating on the bud where it belongs.

Smoke it as you would flower, in a joint or a bowl. It burns slower, which stretches a session out further than you'd expect. If you're used to regular flower, start with less than you'd normally roll and give it ten minutes.

The coating is the delicate part — it holds the nose, and the nose is the first thing to go. Airtight glass in a cool dark spot keeps the strawberry sharp; a bag left open in a warm room will dull it within weeks.

Across the larger weights, break down only what you'll use soon and keep the rest sealed whole. Loose snowcaps in an open jar lose their coating noticeably faster than a packed container. The fridge works for longer storage — bring it to room temperature before opening so condensation doesn't make the coating tacky.
