Snow Ball Moonrocks

A moonrock in the proper sense: flower taken through a full coating process until each piece is a rounded, resin-heavy ball. These come from the Exotic Moonrocks line and they're shaped as balls rather than kept as whole buds, which gives them a uniform surface for the coating to sit on.

In the jar they read almost like sugared confectionery — pale green frosting over a darker base, with a texture that's visibly tacky rather than dry. Crack one open and you see the layers: dense flower at the core, working outward through progressively heavier coating to that frosted shell.

This is the heaviest format on the menu. The coating is applied over the whole surface, so every pull carries concentrate rather than just the outside of a bud — the effect lands well above plain flower or a standard snowcap of the same weight.

Start smaller than you think you need to. A moonrock is easy to misjudge because it looks like a single bud but behaves like a concentrate. One ball is a serious session for most people; half is a sensible first test.

Break a ball by hand rather than grinding it. The coating is thick and sticky, and a grinder will strip most of it onto the walls where you can't use it — a rough hand-break keeps the coating with the flower.

It smokes best in a bowl, where it burns down slowly and evenly, or added to a joint for a lift. Because it's dense and heavily coated, it needs a little airflow around it: don't pack a bowl tight, or it'll struggle to burn through cleanly.

The coating carries both the potency and the flavour, and it's the first thing to suffer from bad storage. Airtight glass in a cool dark spot keeps it tacky and intact; warmth softens it and open air dries it out.

The jar it arrives in is fine short-term. For the larger weights, move what you're not using soon into a sealed container — the balls have far more coated surface area than buds, so they lose condition faster when left loose. The fridge works for longer storage; bring it back to room temperature before opening so condensation doesn't make the surface sticky.
