Cherry Jupiter is an exotic cut, and it looks it. The buds come dark and chunky with deep purple flecking running through the calyxes — the kind of colour that comes from the plant's genetics rather than from a cold finish forced at the end. Underneath the purple the flower reads grey-green, almost silver where the trichome coverage sits heaviest.

Trim is tight and hand-finished, with a proper orange-pistil set and no leaf crowding the bud. These are dense, heavy nugs — a 30g bag feels like more than 30g.

Cherry on the front, as the name promises — sweet and dark rather than the bright artificial cherry you get from a candy profile. Underneath there's something deeper: an earthy, slightly gassy base with a faint spice on the tail end that stops the sweetness from sitting flat.

It's a complex nose rather than a loud one. Where some exotics shout, this one opens up as you break a bud — worth doing a proper smell test on a freshly ground nug rather than judging it straight from the bag.

Dense flower burns slow, and this is dense flower. A joint lasts noticeably longer than the same weight of a lighter, fluffier bud, and it holds its cherry well rather than running down one side.

The hit is smooth and full-bodied, with the cherry sweetness carrying through on the exhale. Strength sits high — this is a proper exotic, not a mid-shelf cut dressed up, so go carefully on the first session and see where it lands before you commit to a heavy one.

It's the kind of flower worth a proper grind and a slow smoke rather than being rushed through. The trichome coverage means there's real resin in it, and grinding right before you roll — rather than pre-grinding and leaving it sitting — keeps the terpenes where they belong.

Works well in a joint, a bowl or a vape. Because the buds are dense, break them up properly rather than loading a whole one; you'll get a more even burn and better airflow through the bowl.

Heavily frosted flower is more sensitive to how it's kept, because the trichomes carry the flavour and they're fragile. Airtight glass in a cool dark spot is the right home — a bag left open loses the nose within a few weeks.

Don't handle the buds more than you need to. Trichomes knock off on fingers and grinder walls, and on flower this coated that's where the flavour lives. Keep it sealed between sessions and it holds its character for months.
