GMO x Han Solo Burger

Two heavyweight cuts crossed: GMO on one side, Han Solo Burger on the other. Both parents are known for the same two things — a savoury, funky nose and a heavy body — and crossing them concentrates rather than dilutes it. This is an exotic in the real sense, not a label applied to anything with colour.

The bag appeal is obvious the moment you open it. Chunky, well-formed buds carrying a heavy trichome layer that gives them a pale, almost silver cast, with vivid orange pistils stacked through and deep green breaking through underneath. These are dense nugs — a 14g bag feels heavier than it should.

We rate this 13/13, and it's the loudest thing on the flower shelf. GMO brings its distinctive savoury gas — earthy, funky, closer to garlic and mushroom than anything sweet — and the Han Solo Burger side layers sweet, doughy notes on top. The result is genuinely unusual: rich and food-like rather than fruity or floral.

It carries. Open the bag in a room and everyone knows within seconds, and the smell lingers on fingers after handling. If you want something discreet this is the wrong strain; if you want a nose that justifies the name, this is it.

Smooth and full-flavoured, with the savoury gas carrying right through on the exhale rather than fading after the first pulls. The cure is clearly done properly — no harshness, no throat bite, and it burns to a clean pale ash.

Strength is at the top of what we stock in flower. The effect is heavy and body-led with a strong head component: it lands fast, it's genuinely long-lasting, and it settles you rather than keeping you moving. An evening strain, and a proper one.

Because the nose is the whole point, grind it fresh rather than pre-grinding. A savoury, terpene-heavy profile is exactly the kind that fades fastest once ground flower sits in open air, and leaving it ground overnight is how you lose the thing you paid for.

It works in a joint, a bowl or a dry herb vape. If you have a vape, keep the temperature moderate — this is a strain where the flavour rewards a slower, cooler session rather than a hot, fast one. Go steady on the first one; it's stronger than the smoothness suggests.

Airtight glass, cool and dark, and handle the buds as little as you can. On flower this frosted the trichomes carry both the nose and the potency, and they knock off onto fingers and grinder walls where they're no use to anyone.

Across the larger weights, keep what you're not using sealed whole rather than dipping into one open bag. Cured flower left exposed loses its nose well before it loses its strength, and here the nose is the reason to buy it. Stored properly it holds its character for months.
